Sparking
Les Funambules “Soif” – Grape Apple Wine 2023
- This super refreshing low ABV “cider” is a co-fermentation between apples and Auxerrois grapes. Dry and juicy with a very easy going nature. Unfiltered, unfined and no sulfur added. Alsace, France
Rosé
Day Wines “Lemonade” – Pinot Noir Rosé 2023
- Ripe raspberry, Meyer lemon, wet stones lifted by floral aromatics. Few winemaker can translate their penchant for experimentation into such stellar wines as Brianna Day. She first debuted
“Lemonade” rosé after having to early harvest Pinot Noir to protect the fruit from forest fire smoke. Using a variety of cellar techniques, Day ended up with an incredibly bright and juicy rosé, which she now produces every year. Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Reds
The Marigny “It’ll Do Cuvée #2” – Pinot Noir Cuvée chilled
- Dark and smoky on the nose, almost brooding, but lively and bright on the palate! This is a super fun expression of Pinot Noir. High-toned fresh fruit grounded in earthy notes. Unfined and unfiltered. Fermentation style: Carbonic Maceration. Oregon, USA
Bacchus – Cabernet Sauvignon 2021
- Refreshing, ripe fruit with a clean taste that’s not too oaky or tannic. Medium bodied. Ripe plum, black currant & cedar. California, USA
The Only Crab House on the Ocean City Boardwalk – Mug and Mallet
When you think of Ocean City, Maryland, the first things that probably come to mind are the sandy beaches, the bustling boardwalk, and the iconic Thrasher’s French Fries. But if you’re a seafood lover, there’s one spot that you absolutely cannot miss: Mug & Mallet. This gem holds the title of the only crab house on the Ocean City boardwalk just a few steps from the Plim Plaza, offering a unique and delightful dining experience.
Mug & Mallet isn’t just a place to grab a meal; it’s an integral part of the Ocean City experience. Located right on the boardwalk, this crab house combines the charm of a classic seaside eatery with the vibrancy of the boardwalk atmosphere. As you walk up, the inviting smell of steamed crabs and Old Bay seasoning draws you in. Long wooden tables are covered with brown paper, ready for you to crack open some fresh crabs. It’s a casual, laid-back spot where you can roll up your sleeves and dig into a seafood feast without any pretense.
The star of the show at Mug & Mallet is, of course, the crabs. But the menu doesn’t stop at crabs. You can also indulge in a variety of seafood dishes including shrimp, clams, oysters, and fish. For those who prefer something other than seafood, Mug & Mallet offers a selection of other delicious options like juicy burgers, crispy chicken tenders, and fresh salads. Pair your meal with one of their signature cocktails or a cold beer from their extensive drink menu to complete the experience.
Dining at Mug & Mallet is more than just eating; it’s an experience. So, the next time you find yourself strolling along the Ocean City boardwalk, make sure to stop by. Grab a mallet, crack open some crabs, and enjoy a true taste of Maryland.

Captain’s Table Featured on Coast Life
Captain’s Table was recently on Coast Life featuring our General Manager, Mike Warren, and Sarah Simon, the Director of Sales. They showcased some of the restaurant’s mouth-watering dishes including the best-selling seared scallop lemon risotto with sweet peas and artichoke hearts. Mike Warren shares that the consistency and approachability of the food is what makes Captain’s Table special. Aside from the food, they also discussed their summer menu drinks, which are all twists on classics with a smoky theme. For instance, the mandarin orange mezcal margarita with chocolate bitters is a must try. You’re going to want to stop in and indulge yourself in some tasty food, decadent drinks and relaxing live piano music before the summer is over!
