Best Wings on the Shore Competition

Looking for the best wings at the beach? Local radio station, Ocean 98, with presenting sponsors Mountaire Farms and Seacrets Jamaica USA, will host the 12th Annual Best Wings on the Shore on Sunday, March 1, 2026, from Noon–3 PM, inside Morley Hall at Seacrets. Proceeds from the event benefit the Ocean 98 Cash for College Fund.

For a $20 entry fee at the door, attendees receive a judge’s ballot and enjoy unlimited wing tastings from some of the region’s best restaurants. Awards will be given for Best Overall, Most Creative, and Hottest Wings.

This year’s competition features 19 top local restaurants, including:

Live entertainment will be provided by local favorites Hot Sauce Band.

Mountaire Farms returns as presenting sponsor and will generously supply fresh wings to every competing restaurant, while Seacrets Jamaica USA now serves as the event’s permanent home, hosting the competition annually in Morley Hall.

This event is 21 and over.

The Ocean 98 Cash for College Fund awards $5,000 annually to an outstanding high school student from Worcester, Wicomico, or Sussex County.
