Best Places to Eat in and Around Oceans Calling & Country Calling in Ocean City, MD

When the music comes to Ocean City, Maryland, the entire town gets in on the fun. From Oceans Calling this weekend to Country Calling next, festival weekends bring live music, beach days, Boardwalk adventures…and plenty of reasons to work up an appetite. If you’re looking for the best places to eat during Oceans Calling and Country Calling, keep reading and you’ll find plenty of great options just a short distance from the concerts.

But here’s a local tip: you don’t have to spend your entire weekend eating inside the festival grounds.

If you’re looking for the best places to eat during Oceans Calling and Country Calling, there are plenty of spots just a short distance from the concerts that let you enjoy the energy of festival weekend without the festival prices. Whether you’re grabbing coffee before the music starts, fueling up with breakfast or lunch, or looking for a place to keep the party going during or after the shows, we have you covered!

Wedge & Harbor Watch: Your Festival-Weekend Headquarters

When it comes to eating around the festivals, it doesn’t get much more convenient than Wedge Bar & Grill and Harrison’s Harbor Watch. Both are located within the festival footprint and just a short distance from the concert action, putting you close to the excitement without requiring you to commit to festival food for every meal.

Wedge Bar & Grill is an ideal stop when you want to be close to the music while still enjoying a relaxed Ocean City dining experience. Located at the end of the Boardwalk overlooking the Inlet, it’s an easy place to grab food and drinks before heading into the concerts, or to meet up with friends during a break from the festival.

And during festival weekends, the Wedge has an extra reason to stop in. Don’t miss their Dewey Beer promotion! Similar to last year’s promotion, but with a new beer in rotation. Festival season calls for a cold beer and a souvenir worth taking home. Only available at the Wedge, festival-goers can enjoy the Dewey Beer souvenir cup, featuring a 22-ounce keepsake cup filled with your first pour of Dewey Beer. Refills are available throughout the festival weekend, making it an easy way to enjoy a cold craft beer while keeping a little piece of your Ocean City festival weekend.

Or, make it dinner at Harrison’s Harbor Watch! Just steps from the festival action, Harrison’s Harbor Watch delivers one of Ocean City’s classic waterfront dining experiences.

Located at the southern end of the Boardwalk overlooking the Inlet, Harbor Watch is a natural choice when you’re looking for a sit-down seafood dinner during festival weekend. With waterfront views, seafood favorites, a raw bar, and a beautiful setting, it’s a great place to slow down and enjoy dinner before or after the music. (And in air conditioning!) You can enjoy the excitement of festival weekend while still having a local Ocean City restaurant experience outside the festival grounds.

Start Your Festival Day With Coffee at Starbucks

Festival days start early, especially when you’re trying to fit in breakfast, beach time, and a full day of music. For a quick caffeine fix, stop by the Starbucks on 17th Street before heading downtown. Enjoy the fully renovated space, plus mobile ordering makes it even easier. Place your order ahead of time, grab your coffee, and get moving without adding another stop to your festival-day schedule.

Staying With Us? Eat Before You Head to the Festival

If you’re staying at one of our Ocean City properties, you don’t necessarily have to head straight to the festival grounds when you wake up. Start your day with breakfast or lunch at one of our restaurants, then head downtown once you’re fueled up and ready for the music.

Staying near 33rd Street? Marlin Moon Restaurant is a convenient option for breakfast, lunch, or a relaxed meal before heading toward the festival. Enjoy a coastal setting and a menu featuring seafood and American favorites before starting your day of music and activities. Pro tip, start your day with their seasonal mimosa flight!

At the Hilton Oceanfront Suites, 32 Palm offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. Grab breakfast before you start your festival day or sit down for lunch before heading south toward the Boardwalk. It’s an easy way to make your hotel part of the dining experience instead of treating it as simply a place to sleep. Pro tip: order it to your room as room service!

For guests staying near 15th Street, Captain’s Table is another convenient option for starting the day. Have breakfast, enjoy the oceanfront view, and then make your way toward the festival when you’re ready.

Don’t overlook Coral Reef when you’re planning your festival weekend dining. It’s another convenient option for guests staying with us who want to grab a meal before heading toward the music.

Getting a meal in before you head to the festival means you can spend more of your day enjoying the concerts, Boardwalk, beach, and everything else Ocean City has to offer.

Keep the Music Going at Cabanas & Caribbean Pool Bar

Festival weekend doesn’t have to end when you leave the concert grounds. If you’re looking for live music, drinks, food, and a laid-back Ocean City atmosphere, check out Cabanas Beach Bar & Grille and Caribbean Pool Bar. Both offer a fun way to continue the festival-weekend energy, with live music and specials throughout the season.

Make Your Ocean City Festival Weekend About More Than the Music

Oceans Calling and Country Calling bring some of the biggest music weekends of the year to Ocean City, but the festival is only part of the experience. You can build your weekend around the music while still enjoying the restaurants, bars, coffee shops, beaches, and Boardwalk attractions that make Ocean City special.

Whether you’re coming to Ocean City for Oceans Calling or Country Calling, make your dining plans part of the experience. With restaurants close to the festival, convenient hotel dining, coffee just steps from the Boardwalk, live music, drink specials, and the Dewey Beer promotion at the Wedge, you can spend less time worrying about where to eat and more time enjoying the weekend.

Come for the music. Stay for the beach, Boardwalk, food, and Ocean City memories.

Every spring, the hospitality world of Delmarva converges in Ocean City for the Ocean City Trade Expo, and this year’s 2026 edition did not disappoint. Organized by the Ocean City Hotel‑Motel‑Restaurant Association, this two‑day event brought together thousands of industry professionals to network, explore cutting‑edge products, and gain actionable insights that will shape the year ahead.

From immersive industry panels and interactive demos to forward‑thinking discussions on AI, non‑alcoholic beverage trends, and menu profitability, the Expo offered something valuable for every segment of the hospitality sector. Whether you were watching live culinary showcases, learning how to reimagine hospitality with data, or discovering how allergen‑safe cooking can boost customer trust, there was no shortage of innovative ideas to bring back to your business. In this post, we’re unpacking the coolest things we saw at the OCHMRA Trade Show 2026.

Dewey Beer Debuts New Light Lime Lager

Perfectly refreshing and light, it’s designed to be a summer staple, ideal for sipping by the pool or on warm patio days. Fans of Dewey’s bold IPAs will love this easy‑drinking twist. It’s bright, citrusy, and utterly perfect for long, sunny days.

Spked Ade Will Be All The Rage in 2026

Another buzzy product at the OCHMRA Trade Show was Spked Ade, a ready‑to‑drink, vodka‑based beverage that’s built for fun without the bloat. Designed with zero sugar, about 100 calories, gluten‑free, and no bubbles, it delivers bold, familiar flavors in a light, refreshing format that’s perfect for summer crowds. (It tastes like Power Ade!) With a smooth 4.5% ABV and clean sip profile, this RTD cocktail is shaping up to be one of 2026’s trendiest adult beverages — light, refreshing, and ready to keep the good times going all summer long.

Ocean City Locals Debut New Tequila RTD Cocktails

We were especially excited to see Sol Jam on the trade show floor — not just because of how tasty their canned cocktails are, but because this brand is locally founded right out of Ocean City, MD by two friends who grew up chasing beach vibes and sunshine.

Sol Jam’s tequila‑based RTDs are crafted with premium tequila, real fruit juices, low sugar, and under 100 calories, giving you all the flavor without the heaviness. While all the flavors impressed, the lime version quickly became a personal favorite… bright, refreshing, and ideal for sunny days ahead.

32 Palm’s Bourbon Cocktail Dinner in Ocean City, MD

At 32 Palm, they believe a great dinner should be more than a meal, it should be an experience. That’s exactly what awaits at their upcoming Bourbon Cocktail Dinner, an immersive evening where expertly crafted cocktails meet thoughtfully curated cuisine.

Designed for bourbon lovers and culinary adventurers alike, this exclusive five-course event showcases the rich character and versatility of bourbon through handcrafted cocktail pairings. Each course highlights bold flavors, seasonal ingredients, and innovative technique, creating a seamless progression of taste that’s both refined and unforgettable.

Deep Dive Into The Menu

This Bourbon Cocktail Dinner isn’t just a pairing menu — it’s a progression of flavor, craftsmanship, and storytelling. Each course has been thoughtfully designed to highlight the depth and versatility of bourbon, from bright and herbaceous to bold and contemplative. Here’s a closer look at what awaits you.

First Course

We begin with balance. The salt-forward richness of country ham meets the natural sweetness of fig jam, layered over nutty pecan rye and tangy goat cheese. It’s savory, slightly sweet, and deeply comforting.

The Rosemary Bourbon Spritz brightens the plate with fresh lemon and aromatic rosemary, while the six-year single barrel bourbon adds structure and subtle spice. A splash of La Marca Prosecco lifts the entire pairing, making this first course vibrant, effervescent, and welcoming… The perfect opening note.

Second Course

This course leans into smoky sweetness. The grilled prawns carry a natural char that plays beautifully against the smoked peach BBQ sauce, fruity, slightly tangy, and kissed with smoke. The shaved Brussels slaw adds crunch and freshness to keep the dish balanced.

The Maple Bourbon Smash enhances those caramelized notes. The seven-year single barrel bourbon brings oak and depth, while maple rounds out the edges with warmth. Fresh mint cuts through the richness, creating a cocktail that feels both robust and refreshing.

Third Course

This is the heart of the evening. A perfectly grilled ribeye delivers bold, savory depth, complemented by a glossy orange bourbon glaze that adds citrus brightness and subtle sweetness. The Okinawa potato purée is silky and slightly earthy, while crispy carrots introduce texture and contrast.

The Red Moon cocktail leans darker and more structured. Woodford Reserve’s rich vanilla and toasted oak notes intertwine with the dark fruit and tannin of J. Lohr Cabernet Sauvignon. It’s layered, powerful, and beautifully matched to the richness of the steak.

Fourth & Fifth Course

Playful yet refined, this dessert channels nostalgia through a gourmet lens. Crisp funnel cake gives way to creamy cheesecake, while blueberry compote adds bright acidity. The vanilla fig ice cream brings smooth sweetness with subtle depth.

The Vanilla Bourbon Cream Soda transforms a childhood classic into an elevated indulgence. The 10-year single barrel bourbon offers caramel, vanilla, and baking spice notes that amplify the dessert without overpowering it. It’s rich, comforting, and just decadent enough.

We close the evening with intention. WhistlePig’s 18 Year Double Malt Rye is complex and contemplative, layered with spice, oak, dried fruit, and a long, warming finish. Served neat, it invites guests to slow down and savor.

Whether you’re a seasoned bourbon enthusiast or simply looking for a unique night out in Ocean City, this ticketed dinner promises an elevated experience from the first sip to the final bite. Visit OpenTable to reserve your seat and prepare for an evening where every pour tells a story.
